SPEECH LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST (SLP)

Scoot is thrilled to offer full-time and part-time roles in Speech Language Pathology!

A School Speech Language Pathologists role would include: 1) screening students, 2) evaluating students for speech and language needs, 3) conducting speech therapy, 4) participating and implementation of IEP process, and 5) collecting documentation of needs and progress.

These roles span working in public, private and charter settings and across all grade levels.  Typically SLP work will be conducted in 1:1 or small group settings with students who are included in general education and special education populations.

For some roles in this category, school partners require additional training.  In some cases, Scoot can provide this training.  Time spent in Scoot-provided training is paid to the individuals and is a great way to accelerate your career.

In all cases, Scoot Consultants will inform Speech Language Pathologists on the details, requirements, and demands of the role. Should the assigned duties differ or if a SLP be asked to perform tasks outside of what was originally described to them, the SLP is responsible for contacting their Consultant immediately.
